Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification with special education endorsement.
• Experience as SPED teacher in schools.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and assessment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with families and staff.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students in special education programs.
• Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement with measurable goals and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support personnel to implement IEPs and adapt lessons.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom climate.
• Maintain accurate records according to school and compliance standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, goals, and strategies.
