Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated K-12 special education teacher to join in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will diagnose learning, social, and emotional needs, collaborate with teams and families, and apply SESI's instructional models including the CASE PBIS framework to support each student's growth. As part of a diverse, supportive network, you will develop individualized lesson plans, manage behavior, document IEPs and BIPs, and track progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback is essential.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work with diverse student needs.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds to meet their needs.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and PBIS CASE framework to teach and support students.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Maintain student documentation including IEPs and BIPs, and monitor progress.
• Drive student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
