Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated special education teacher in Texas to support K-12 students with diverse learning needs.

You will collaborate with school teams to implement SESI’s evidence-based instructional approaches and CASE PBIS framework to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment. You will develop individualized plans, manage behavior, and track progress, while partnering with families to support student growth and success within SESI's network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas special education teaching credential.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students with varying developmental and educational needs.
• Deliver instruction using SESI's instructional models and curricula.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans aligned with IEPs and BIPs.
• Implement behavior management and de-escalation strategies to ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate student records, including IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and evaluations.
• Monitor and document student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and escort students within the school as required.
