Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a self-contained, multi-categorical classroom in South Carolina. The contract role runs full-time at 37.5–40 hours per week, with ASAP start.

The teacher will manage a caseload of students in grades 3–5 and collaborate with a dedicated support team to foster positive outcomes. The ideal candidate holds valid SPED certification, excels in classroom management and differentiation, and communicates effectively

Qualifications

• Valid and current certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience with self-contained, multi-categorical settings preferred
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with collaborative skills

Responsibilities

• Delivering specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
• Creating and adapting curriculum to meet varied academic and social-emotional needs
• Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, and conducting assessments
• Working closely with service providers, parents, and faculty to promote student growth
• Fostering a positive, empowering space where each student's potential can shine
• Participating in school-based meetings and ongoing professional development
