Job summary

St. John Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, in Tipton, Missouri, seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care within our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will supervise treatments, assess patients, and develop personalized care plans to facilitate functional recovery and independence. The role emphasizes building strong patient relationships and celebrating progress as part of a collaborative care team with access to advanced rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification is required.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
