Job summary

Keller ISD is seeking a qualified Middle School Teacher for Core Subjects for the 2026-2027 school year on-site in Keller, Texas. The role requires delivering engaging lessons aligned to TEA standards, supporting student growth, and collaborating with staff to meet district goals.

Responsibilities include planning, assessment, behavior management, and participating in staff development. This position requires valid Texas teaching certification and ESL endorsement, with a focus on student success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject assigned.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language – Required for all Core Subject Teachers.
• CTE Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
• Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood
• Physical Education Teachers: AED and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person learning aligned with District curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials that address diverse student needs.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Plan and assign work to instructional aides and volunteers.
• Supervise extracurricular activities as assigned.
