Job summary

Muskegon Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Primary Focus K-2) to support students in grades K-2 with diverse learning needs. The position is full-time and reports to the Building Principal.

Salary commensurate with credentials and experience; starting range $53,887-$78,454 per year; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability; Michigan ORS retirement eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE OR; Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.
