Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our West Dallas home health team. The role focuses on helping clients regain independence through personalized ADL/IADL interventions and collaborative care.

You will work under an OT, document progress, and educate families. We value flexible, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Active COTA certification in good standing.
  • Experience in home health or rehab preferred.
  • Familiarity with Katz ADL and Lawton IADL scales.
  • Proficient with medical documentation software.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients in developing and maintaining daily living and work skills.
  • Implement treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
  • Apply therapeutic interventions to improve safety and independence.
  • Educate on adaptive strategies and equipment use.
  • Document care and track progress toward goals.
  • Coordinate with families and caregivers for ongoing support.
  • Perform regular follow-ups and update records.
