• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Teaching certification is not required for substitute roles.

• Implement lesson plans and materials prepared by the classroom teacher.
• Maintain an orderly, respectful learning environment.
• Set and reinforce high expectations for student engagement.
• Provide guidance and encouragement to support learning.
• Take accurate attendance and follow school procedures.
• Redirect misbehavior and build positive rapport with students.
• Communicate academic or behavioral notes to teachers or leadership.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, or duties.
• Uphold Catholic and Jesuit identity in word and action.
