Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid NC teaching certification or eligible for NC certification.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to laws, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and implement a program of study in the assigned content area.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Create a classroom environment that engages students.
• Prepare for classes and show evidence of preparation.
• Assess student progress and maintain records for IEPs/504 plans.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and collaborate with staff.
