Job summary

Nebo School District in Utah seeks a Special Education Resource Technician (Lane 1) to support students in basic academics, monitor progress, and follow IEP procedures. The role is 4 hours per day, five days a week, 177 days per year.

You will adapt activities, assist with small groups, implement behavioral plans, maintain records, and collaborate with teachers to promote student success in reading, math, and language.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal Justice Background clearance required.
• Experience with IEP goals and special education support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt activities and materials to support classroom objectives for special education students.
• Administer progress monitoring tests to evaluate student progress and IEP goals.
• Assist staff in supervising students to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide direct instructional services to individuals or small groups.
• Implement behavioral plans designed by the IEP team.
• Maintain instructional materials and student records for reliable information.
