Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. Flexible hours and local cases provide opportunities to support daily living and community participation.

You will work one-on-one with clients, following each person's ISP, and contribute to their independence with compassionate, dependable care. CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• HS diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
