Job summary

Sevita is seeking a caregiver to provide home and community-based support to individuals with developmental needs in Austin, TX. You will assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and community participation while building meaningful relationships with participants.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least six months of related experience is preferred. A valid driver's license and insured vehicle are important for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Valid driver's license and access to insured vehicle required.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with goals and community involvement.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition planning.
• Develop real relationships and provide person-centered support.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure participant wellbeing.
