Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject assigned.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language – Required for all Core Subject Teachers
• CTE Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or related training
• Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood
• Physical Education Teachers: AED and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans for in-person learning.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials per TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning and plan based on results.
• Collaborate with Special Education teachers to modify curricula.
• Establish goals and methods with staff to meet district requirements.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers.
• Maintain professional communication with parents and community.
• Participate in staff development and comply with regulations.
