Every Special Child LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Santa Rosa for the 2026-27 school year.

The ideal candidate holds a Mild/Moderate or ESN Education Specialist License from California and has at least 1 year of experience teaching students in K-12. The position begins ASAP and ends in June 2027, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with families and school staff.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Valid Mild/Moderate or ESN Education Specialist License (CA).
• Experience of at least 1 year as a Special Education Teacher.

Responsabilidades

• Teach groups of students and implement individual lesson plans.
• Meet each student’s learning requirements and tailor instruction to needs.
• Collaborate with parents and support staff to monitor progress.
• Adapt materials and create IEPs as needed.
• Track and reflect on student progress; adjust interventions.
• Monitor behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate supports.
• Prepare students for transition to next grade.
• Coach/mentor colleagues working with students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with support staff and perform related duties.
