Penumbra, Inc. is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team in California. This role involves providing expert advice on various employment matters, including hiring, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in employment law and possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers a salary range of $175,000 to $255,000 along with a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) matching.
As part of Penumbra's Legal team, you will support a growing and dynamic company that develops ground‑breaking technology to further its mission of saving patients' lives. You will work closely with the General Counsel, other seasoned attorneys, paralegals, and support staff as a member of a closely‑knit team. Partnering with the Human Resources department and key business stakeholders across the company in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment, you will handle a variety of matters essential to ensure the company's continued rapid growth.
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. May have business travel from 5-10%. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
$175,000 – $255,000
