Active Consulting Services LLC seeks a Litigation Associate for Employment & Complex Civil Litigation in Greenwich, CT. The role requires 3+ years of substantive litigation experience, with expertise in employment, commercial, civil, or complex litigation, and the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time, in-person, with a salary range of $170,000–$215,000 per year, plus discretionary year-end bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut and New York Bar admission.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, demand letters, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy and case development.
• Handle discovery, document review, production, and e-discovery.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Support employment matters and agency proceedings involving the EEOC, CHRO, and DOL.

The ideal candidate will have experience in employment, commercial, civil, or complex litigation and be ready to take increasing responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut and New York Bar admission required.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
