Responsibilities

• Identify cuts of meat, breakdown, weigh and wrap products per company standards.
• Greet customers, respond to questions/requests/complaints, and explain store policies courteously; note special orders.
• Review the perishable department board daily and follow intercom guidelines for announcements.
• Prepare/organize cooler/freezer/backroom/preparation area for receipt of merchandise; verify invoices and inspect deliveries.
• Move and stock merchandise using carts/pallets; rotate and face products on shelves and displays.
• Understand operations, safety requirements and restraint equipment in use; follow company safety policies.
