Job summary

Graybar in Anchorage is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to help move goods, unload deliveries, receive inventory, store products and pick/pack customer orders. You may occasionally deliver orders in a light van. This employee-owned company offers a range of benefits and a clear path for growth.

The role requires physical fitness (lift up to 70 lbs), adherence to safety procedures and reliable attendance, with work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting up to 70 lbs., cutting wire, climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Unload and accurately receive deliveries.
• Store product in specific location and note in system.
• Select and pack customer orders and at times deliver customer orders in light van or delivery vehicle.
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
