Job summary

McElroy Metal Mart in Commerce, CO is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily retail operations of metal building components. You will supervise staff, handle bookkeeping, pricing, inventory, and shipping while maintaining strong customer relations.

Experience in construction and working knowledge of common shop tools and office equipment are preferred. This role requires leadership, organization and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as calculator, PC, printer, copier, fax and telephone.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates scheduling, distribution, warehousing, and selling activities per company policies.
• Assist customers using product and construction knowledge.
• Establish competitive prices for the market area.
• Perform daily bookkeeping and bank deposits.
• Assign work duties and schedules to employees.
• Interview, train, motivate and evaluate staff.
• Organize office and warehouse for efficient use of space and workflow.
• Manage stock orders and maintain inventory levels.
• Maintain paperwork: invoices, quotes, POs, transfers and reports.
• Support advertising to promote products and maintain customer relationships.
