Job summary

The Kendall Group, based in the Columbus, OH area, seeks a Power Distribution Specialist to join the distribution team. You will establish competitive quotations, interface with sales to negotiate and close orders, and provide post-order project management support.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements with customers and vendors, reviewing specs, preparing quotations with quotation software, and purchasing equipment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales, product or industry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications; knowledge of electrical distribution products and planning; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external customers.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to sit/perform office work in a normal environment.
• Experience with power distribution systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers, sales teams, and vendors to gather project requirements and analyze specifications.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation to assess equipment and service needs.
• Utilize quotation software to prepare accurate quotations for Power Distribution Projects.
• Purchase appropriate equipment for Power Distribution projects.
• Post-order project management intervention as necessary.
• Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
