Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production, material handling, and quality processes at our Arkansas facilities. You will follow safety procedures, operate multiple workstations, and assist with machine output and basic troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes lean principles, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to train new hires and cross-train across areas to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Set up and operate workstations, including loading, catching, trimming, wrapping, banding, assembly, and roll-forming tasks.
• Perform material handling duties and move materials using manual methods or mechanical aids.
• Assist Operators by monitoring machine output and basic troubleshooting when needed.
• Complete production tasks using hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure Quality Control is performed at each work center per QC standards and feedback.
• Cross-train and perform duties in multiple production areas as needed.
