Huck's Market Store #142 in Carmi, IL is seeking a Food Service Associate to help run the food service area, deliver fast, friendly service, and uphold Huck's high standards for store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Opens the food service department and is ready for business during food service hours
• Provides prompt and courteous service to all customers
• Effectively communicates with store associates
• Follows all federal, state and local laws and ordinances pertaining to the operation of the store
• Controls how much food is prepared to avoid waste while ensuring adequate supply for customers
• Treats all associates with dignity and respect
• Advises store manager of personnel situations or policy violations affecting store performance
• Assists in training new associates on proper completion of their duties
• Ensures a safe shopping and working environment and adheres to safety rules
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and assists customers with sign-up and redemption
• Maintains food service appearance and ensures displays and glass are clean
• Reports maintenance problems and assists in keeping food service areas clean and sanitized
• Reports accidents promptly to the Store Manager and Corporate office
