Job summary

Kovach Enclosure Systems seeks a Drafter II to independently manage drafting projects from turnover through completion. You will prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings, BOMs, takeoffs, material orders, and related documentation, coordinating with Project Management, Engineering, Field Operations, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience independently managing drafting projects from initiation through completion.
• Ability to prepare complete shop and fabrication drawings, takeoffs, bills of material, and product releases.
• Ability to interpret complex architectural drawings, engineering documents, specifications, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage drafting projects from turnover through completion while meeting schedules, labor estimates, and quality standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify drafting requirements and conflicts.
• Prepare shop and fabrication drawings, takeoffs, and material orders; maintain project drafting schedules.
