Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) seeks a Construction Technician II to lead field inspections, perform materials testing, and document progress in coordination with Project Managers to verify contractor compliance with specifications and contracts.

You will train junior technicians, maintain daily logs, review payment requests, and participate in progress meetings, contributing to project success in a 100% employee-owned firm focused on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school graduate
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification
• Valid driver's license
• Strong documentation and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Lead field inspections, materials testing, and documentation.
• Train Construction Technician I teammates and coordinate with Project Managers.
• Verify contractor compliance with specs and contracts.
• Maintain daily logs and field books of progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Attend progress meetings and communicate project status.
