Job summary

Assurance Manufacturing in Minnesota is seeking a CNC Turning Set Up/Programmer to program, set up, and operate Lathe Machining centers in a modern facility. You will support the machining team, maintain CAD files, and follow ISO procedures to ensure quality and on-time production.

The role requires 2+ years programming experience and 5+ years machining experience, with Mastercam proficiency and Blueprint/GDT understanding. Competitive benefits and ESOP are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with supervisors and managers.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with CAM software.
• Ability to use Mastercam CAM software and read blueprints.
• Ability to use measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gages).
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Lathe Machining centers.
• Assist machining supervisor with supplies/tools and workflow.
• Identify CAD or drawing errors and resolve through sales per procedure.
• Follow work orders, gather tools/materials, and adhere to 5S and quality procedures.
• Crosstrain in other plant areas to meet production needs.
• Maintain safe operations and follow all safety guidelines.
