Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking an Employee and Occupational Health RN Coordinator to promote workforce well-being, support cost-effective care, and advance prevention efforts. You will deliver clinical guidance, manage work-related injuries, and contribute to safer environments and stronger teams.

The role focuses on protecting employee health, reducing absenteeism, and improving outcomes while aligning with our mission to care for and improve human life.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure.
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Previous Employee Health, Occupational Health, and Workers Compensation experience.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-employment and annual health screenings, immunizations, lab testing, and exposure tracking.
• Assess workplace injuries and exposures; provide first aid and clinical guidance.
• Manage occupational health cases; arrange follow-up care and return-to-work planning.
• Investigate safety events; identify trends; document findings and guide prevention efforts.
• Educate staff on safety practices, infection prevention and wellness.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing pre-employment and annual health screenings, immunizations, lab testing, and exposure tracking
• Assessing workplace injuries and exposures, providing first aid, clinical guidance, and initial care direction
• Managing occupational health cases, including follow-up care, work restrictions, and return-to-work planning
• Investigating safety events,identifyingtrends, documenting findings, and guiding prevention efforts
• Educating staff on safety practices, infection prevention, injury reduction, and workplace wellness

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or
• Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida Sate Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Previous Employee Health, Occupational Health, and Workers Compensation Experience
• Fingerprinting required
