Hickmans Family Farms seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead the implementation and maintenance of all EHS programs. You will serve as the primary guidance point for compliance and training, directing investigations, testing programs, and interactions with outside agencies on-site.

You will oversee environmental quality, air and wastewater, and health and safety regulations, while tracking injury trends and ensuring required training and reporting are completed in a timely

Responsabilités

• Keep Management Team informed of Environmental, Health, and Safety concerns or issues.
• Oversee Environmental Quality and monitor air and wastewater.
• Monitor Health and Safety Regulations and conduct safety investigations.
• Track injury trends and develop action plans.
• Test ammonia and hydrogen sulfide levels and validate generator and air quality.
• Respond to citizen and government complaints and manage permits and training records.

Job Summary:The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager will ensure the implementation and maintenance of all company environmental, health, and safety programs as well as serve as the main point of contact in providing guidance and leadership for compliance and training items within their scope.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.Duties/Responsibilities:Keep Management Team informed of Environmental, Health, and Safety Concerns or issuesOversee Environmental QualityMonitor Air and WastewaterMonitor Health and Safety RegulationsConduct Safety related investigationsTrack Injury Trends and Develop Action PlansMonthly Ammonia and Hydrogen Sulfide testingTest Generator and Air QualityResponding to Citizen and Government ComplaintsCreating New Construction PermitsProvide training support to the company and ensure all required training courses are completed/scheduledManage internal Reports (Safety Walkthrough, Safety Team Correspondence, Training Records)Manage External Reports (Complaint Notifications, Inspection Reports, Notices of Violations, Legal Documents)Regulate PollutantsServe as the main point of contact when outside agencies come on-site to conduct annual assessments.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Extensive knowledge in the areas of Workers Compensations, Osha, Safety, etc.Available 24/7 as neededEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Five or more years of environmental, health, and safety experience in the food/agriculture industry or related experience preferred.Bachelors/Master’s degree in Safety Engineering/Management or related fields preferred.Physical Requirements:Standing/Walking for Extended Periods of TimeBending, pulling, reaching, and lifting on an as needed basis.Fine Motor Skills (typing/handling tools)About Hickmans Family Farms:Since 1944, Hickmans Family Farms has been a trusted provider of fresh eggs and quality feed in the Southwest.
