Job summary

Acrisure is hiring an Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for client accounts and to develop coverage strategies. The role focuses on service excellence, renewals, and policy administration in a fast-paced fintech-enabled insurance environment.

Candidates should have a Health & Life license, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Applied Systems/EPIC. On-site collaboration and cross-functional partnership are emphasized.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Service accounts and manage client transactions such as quotes, policy issues, endorsements, certificates, renewals, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries and internal requests promptly.
• Develop coverage strategies and plans as needed.
• Engage in insurance marketing and sales activities.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Provide claims support and review policies for accuracy.
• Maintain client data in Applied Systems/EPIC and document activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to issue policies for mutual clients.
• Keep producers informed of important activities on accounts.

Job Summary:

Account Managersperform more routine responsibilities and are primary points of contact for clients they oversee.Account Managers are individualcontributors,they develop coverage strategies and planwith occasional guidance or direct supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Service accounts, including account transactions such asquote and issue policies,ID cards, proposal endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company request needs ona timelybasis.
• Developcoverage strategies andplans,as necessary.
• Insurance marketingand sales.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Claims support.
• Review new/renewal policies and endorsements toensureitems were received as ordered.
• Maintain accuracy of client data in agency management system (Applied Systems/ EPIC)
• Document all activities in agency management system (Applied Systems/ EPIC)
• Understand andutilizeupload,download,andinterfacetechnology.
• Assistother departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issueappropriatepoliciesin their department for which we have a mutual client.
• Keeping Producers informed of all important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management.
• Keep current with industry trends including participation in educational seminars and classes for improvement of insurance/sales skills and license compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers
• Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes in these provisions
• Complete other functions andassignmentsassigned,includingbackupduties.

Requirements:

• ActiveHealth & Life License Required.
• Strong organizational skills-the abilityto discern priority and initiative.
• Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word,Outlook,and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions and deal with a variety of variablesfurnishedin written, oral,diagramor schedule form.
• Applied Systems /EPIC experienceisa plus.
• Knows andappliesprinciples of insurance to everyday situations.
• Employee Navigator experience a plus.

EducationandExperience:

• High School diplomarequired.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience inemployee benefits.
• CPCU or special training course completionisa plus.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
