Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Women's Health Specialists – Waxahachachie is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide comprehensive medical care and patient education in a supportive, team-based environment.

The role involves supervising clinical activities of allied and advanced practice professionals, diagnosing and treating a wide range of OB/GYN conditions, and coordinating follow-up care for patients in Waxahachie, Texas.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
• Board certification status or active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board.

Responsibilities

• Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history and examination results.
• Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness.
• Order, perform, and interpret tests and examine records to diagnose patient condition.
• Work with a clinical team of technicians, advanced practice professionals, and physicians to decide tests and treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
• May perform surgical procedures or post-operative care plans as part of the specialty.
