Job summary

Texas Health Heart & Vascular Specialists, a member of Texas Health Physicians Group, seeks a Board-certified/eligible Cardiologist with EP fellowship to join our expanding electrophysiology service. Primary EP coverage supports Texas Health H-E-B with a mix of outpatient and inpatient care.

Ideal candidate has MD/DO, Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology and EP fellowships, Texas license, DEA, and 2–3 years post-fellowship EP experience; start date January 1, 2027 with credentialing period.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board eligibility/certification in Cardiology and EP.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency from an ACGME program.
• Completed Cardiology and EP fellowships from accredited programs.
• Active Texas license and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary EP coverage with a mix of outpatient and inpatient care.
• Grow EP services within established programs and market.
• Collaborate with Heart & Vascular specialists and THPG teams.

Job description

Requirements

• MD or DO candidates required


• Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program


• Cardiology fellowship completion required from an accredited ACGME program


• Additional fellowship completion in electrophysiology required from an accredited program.


• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology


• Active Texas license


• Current DEA registration


• Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship Electrophysiology experience preferred. Experience managing a broad range of cardiac rhythm disorders and experience performing complex EP procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.


• Seeking someone who can start January 1, 2027 (allowing for 120 days for credentialing).
