Job summary

Qualifications

• Education is required to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Must have current LPN licensure in good standing.
• One-to-two-year experience preferred in assisted living.
• CPR certification
• Must have strong understanding of the English language sufficient to read, write and interpret administrative information.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' vital signs and document results as directed.
• Administer medications and IVs as ordered, ensuring rights of medication administration.
• Communicate with physicians and RNs about patient needs and changes in condition.
• Supervise Resident Assistants and maintain cleanliness and order in the medication area.
• Complete documentation per policy and participate in chart audits and care planning.
