Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in the automobile industry.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data loggers.
• Extensive automobile-related hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for testing (basic maintenance, parts replacement, fuel draining, etc.).
• Serve as an emissions and fuel economy test driver and operate vehicles on a chassis dynamometer.
• Prepare and conduct tailpipe and evaporative emissions testing for various programs at Ann Arbor and Denver.
• Troubleshoot emissions/fuel economy issues under senior staff guidance.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and vehicles are prepared for accurate testing.
