About the Position

Our client is seeking an ambitious and committed attorney with seven or more years of experience to join its Trial and Litigation Practice Group, with an emphasis on eminent domain. The position is available in the San Diego, Los Angeles, or Oakland office.

Candidates should have:

• Strong academic credentials and analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• A strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
• An interest in strengthening the client’s brand and reputation.
• Significant experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.
• Experience preparing cases for trial, including developing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions.
• Eminent domain or real estate/real property experience is preferred but not required.

The position offers the opportunity to gain substantial litigation and trial experience involving a broad range of public-entity-related land acquisition matters throughout California.

Work Environment and Compensation

The California-based salary range is $215,000–$315,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and office location.
