Job summary

Leader Tech is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead 20–25 employees across assigned operations that support EMI shielding products. The role focuses on daily production execution, safety, quality, and continuous improvement within an AS9100 and ISO quality environment.

Qualifications include 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 3+ years in supervision, aerospace/regulated sector exposure, and proficiency with ERP (SYSPRO) and Excel. Schedule is 5:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of manufacturing experience, including at least three years of direct production supervisory experience.
• Experience leading a manufacturing team of 15+ employees preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or another regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate the production schedule into clear daily priorities for staffing, equipment, tooling, materials, and workflow across assigned manufacturing operations.
• Monitor scheduled starts, production output, labor efficiency, WIP, scrap, rework, downtime, attendance, and other KPIs.
• Identify production constraints early and implement recovery plans and corrective actions; escalate risks affecting safety, quality, productivity, or commitments.
• Lead, coach, develop, and cross-train approximately 20–25 employees while maintaining accountability for performance, quality, safety, attendance, and conduct.
• Provide hands-on production support when trained and authorized, maintaining supervisory coverage.
• Ensure employees follow drawings, routers, BOMs, work instructions, specs, inspection requirements, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain labor, production, scrap, material, traceability, training, and quality records per company and quality-system requirements.
• Promote safety: machine guarding, lockout/tagout, PPE, housekeeping, safe material handling, and related requirements.
• Coordinate with Production Control, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, HR, and others to resolve issues and support objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety, quality, productivity, workflow, labor efficiency, and scrap/rework performance.
• Manage department overtime within policy; support staffing decisions and assist production as needed.
