Job summary

Castelion is seeking an EMI/EMC Engineer to own electromagnetic compatibility across our avionics hardware stack. You will integrate EMI considerations early in design, review schematics, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure reliable operation.

You will plan EMI validation tests, troubleshoot issues across boards and harnesses, and document results with cross‑functional teams to drive robust hardware iterations for flight and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on EMI/EMC testing, troubleshooting, or mitigation experience.
• Strong grounding, shielding, and filtering knowledge.
• Experience with lab instrumentation (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Ability to translate EMI findings into practical design improvements.

Responsibilities

• Integrate EMI/EMC considerations early in avionics hardware design.
• Review schematics and layouts for grounding, shielding, and return paths.
• Develop mitigation strategies including filtering and shielding.
• Plan and execute EMI validation testing (radiated and conducted).
• Document results and drive corrective design actions.
