Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks an Emerging Technology Integration Engineer to support NASIC prototyping and technology assessments, under senior engineering guidance. You will help plan forums, analyze technologies, and contribute to technical reports.

The role requires US citizenship, TS/SCI eligibility, and a background in engineering or computer science with 2+ years of related experience. Collaboration with government leads and cross-disciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years’ experience.
• Experience with emerging technologies, R&D, or systems integration.
• Ability to analyze technical information and summarize findings in clear written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and concepts relevant to NASIC missions.
• Support government-led prototype planning, integration, and technical assessments.
• Help analyze operational viability, risks, and benefits of candidate technologies.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and documenting NASIC Technology Forums.
• Contribute to technical reports and the Emerging Technology Posture Report, summarizing investigations and findings.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, analysts, and government leads to align emerging technology efforts with mission needs.
