Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services is seeking a junior Commercial Litigation Associate in New York, NY, from the 2023 or 2024 class to join its sophisticated commercial litigation practice. The role offers hands-on experience across a diverse platform including IP, white collar, entertainment and real estate disputes.

You will draft motions, manage discovery, develop case strategy, and work with experienced litigators across a broad client base.

Qualifications

2023 or 2024 law school class year
Substantial commercial litigation experience at a New York law firm
Experience drafting motion papers
Experience across all phases of discovery
Excellent research, analytical, writing and advocacy skills
J.D. from a top-tier law school
Admitted to the New York Bar
Entrepreneurial approach to practice development

Responsibilities

Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters
Draft substantive motions and other litigation documents
Manage and participate in all phases of discovery
Conduct complex legal research and analysis
Assist with developing case strategy and preparing matters for hearings and trial
Work across commercial, IP, white collar, entertainment and real estate disputes
Take increasing responsibility for matters as experience develops
Work directly with experienced litigators across a diverse client base
