Thompson Turner Construction seeks entry level Project Engineers eager to learn and grow within a strong safety culture. You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents to build industry knowledge and leadership skills for a construction career.

Join us to develop professionally while contributing to project execution. You will monitor activities at construction sites, review specifications, schedule deliveries, and ensure on-time material supply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Eng or CM preferred or 2 years field experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Primavera and Expedition is a plus.
• Able to read/write/communicate clearly with supervisor and clients.
• Proficient in math and reading blueprints.
• Able to pass drug test and background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Management to ensure job specs are met.
• Review data to determine material type and size; prepare itemized lists.
• Purchase, expedite and receive permanent material to ensure quantity/quality.
• Perform material take offs and ensure timely orders for deadlines.
• Review inventory parts for correct specifications.
• Resolve problems with parts shipped incorrectly or out of sequence.
• Analyze drawings to prepare for bids or installations.
• Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for planning and scheduling.
