Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager in Santa Clara, CA to help deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality with the project team. The role supports budgeting, scheduling, meetings, reports, and closeout, working with the superintendent and operations team.

A high school diploma is required, a four-year degree is preferred, and 2–5 years of commercial construction experience is desired, with proficiency in Office, ProCore,

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; four-year degree preferred in construction, engineering, or business.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, preferably with a commercial GC.
• Experience on commercial office interior sites strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards and manage project documentation.
• Assist in creating and managing project budgets and schedules.
• Support pre-construction RFPs, meetings, milestones and owner reporting.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and change orders with subs.
• Collaborate with superintendent and site operations throughout the project lifecycle.
