Job summary

Grvty is seeking a Junior Data Steward to support GEOINT operations by ensuring geospatial and enterprise data is accurate, organized, and ready for analysis. This role is ideal for early-career professionals transitioning from military geospatial or intelligence roles.

You will work with senior team members to identify data quality issues, organize spatial data using ArcPro, SQL, Excel and Access, and help with data life cycle tasks including training community members.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly.
• 2 years of data management or GIS experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Military or government GIS/geospatial training valued.
• Basic understanding of GEOINT.
• Basic understanding of GIS and georeferencing.
• Hands-on experience with ArcPro, Excel, or similar tools.
• Attention to detail and data quality.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to learn quickly in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Organize and maintain spatial data using ArcPro, SQL, Excel, and Access.
• Transfer data between formats and networks.
• Assist with testing scripts and automating routine data tasks.
• Support updates to the requirements database.
• Train community members on its use.
• Gain hands-on experience across the full data life cycle.
