Job summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking motivated engineering graduates to join our Emerging Engineer Development (SEED) program in Austin. The multi-week program provides a broad overview of our processes and operations, semiconductor manufacturing fundamentals, and mentorship, with the goal of placing you in a permanent department after completion.
The program welcomes graduates from Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, CS/CE, Physics, EH&S, Safety, Industrial, Math, Stats, Materials Science, and
Qualifications
- A degree in one of our specified fields
- GPA 3.0 or better
- Desire to learn and grow within the semiconductor space
- Prior successful experience at SAS as an intern, capstone participant, scholar or loan recipient is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Program overview and orientation to Samsung processes and semiconductor manufacturing principles
- Join permanent department/team after completing the multi-week SEED program
- Participation in team-building events and mentorship from Samsung leaders
