Horizon Media in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Media Planner, Digital to support a fast‑paced planning team. This entry‑level role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail and the ability to learn the tools used to plan, buy and report digital campaigns.

You will participate in strategy meetings, help set up campaigns, monitor performance and generate client‑ready reporting across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and other digital networks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Media Planners, Sr. Planners and Supervisors for strategy and plan development.
• Learns and uses Horizon's planning, evaluation and buying tools for analysis and reporting.
• Participates in team brainstorms to develop plans and consideration sets.
• Provides critical thinking to draw conclusions and actionable insights.
• Monitors trends and applications in paid social environments and applies knowledge.
• Gathers updates on partner capabilities and shares with the planning team.
• Meets with subject matter experts for ongoing education and advancement.
• Learns how to create media documents such as RFPs, plans, objectives and decks.
• Supports plan development and analyzes proposals and negotiations.
• Responsible for campaign execution and traffic assets setup and QA.
• Creates post-launch information to demonstrate placement for clients.
• Enters and manages plans in billing systems and tracks insertion orders.
• Maintains plan records, contact lists, spec docs and TI sheets.
• Assists in managing self-service paid social activation across platforms.
• Supports day-to-day communications with Vendors, Partner Agencies and clients.
• Responsible for reporting on campaign performance and optimization.
