Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) in Mishawaka, IN, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician for Swing Shift in a fast-paced, emergency-only setting. You’ll join a team on the front lines, bridging day and night care while delivering high-quality patient and client support.

You will perform triage, nursing, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care in collaboration with doctors. A strong communicator with ER experience thrives here.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and VTNE passed.
• 2+ years of veterinary experience (ER preferred).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software and electronic medical records.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure; ready to lend a hand.
• Fine motor skills for handling patients and equipment; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Deliver meds, monitoring, and mastery of IVs, CRIs, transfusions, and more.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, and sample collection.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure gold-standard care.
• Maintain professionalism and compassionate presence for pet parents.
