BluePearl Pet Hospital in Overland Park, KS seeks an Overnight Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of veterinary professionals in a fast-paced emergency and specialty care environment.

The ideal candidate will train staff, organize schedules, and drive excellent patient and client care while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor lower-level staff with strong clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team to anticipate and address patient and client needs, escalate when needed.
• Organize tech and assistant meetings with hospital leadership.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek resolution.
• Provide feedback to leadership and assist in performance improvement plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will...

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution .
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
