Ethos Veterinary Health's Care Center in Dayton is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician for emergency services in Centerville, OH. This full-time 2nd shift position offers hands-on patient care in a fast-paced hospital, with a rotating schedule and on-call considerations.

You will perform triage, anesthesia induction, radiography, venipuncture, and critical nursing care, collaborating with veterinarians and a supportive team. Competitive pay includes shift differential and on-call pay.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician with strong technical skills including IV catheter placement and venipuncture.
• Experience in veterinary medicine with emphasis on emergency/specialty care.

Responsibilities

• Triage emergency patients, assess and assist veterinarians with diagnostic plans.
• Deliver nursing care, monitor and support hospitalized patients.
• Perform venipuncture, IV placement, anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Assist with radiography, perioperative care, and surgical nursing.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of care.
• Communicate with clients about treatment plans and updates.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to achieve optimal outcomes.
