Job summary

ARISE, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, is hiring a full-time Emergency Veterinary Technician Assistant for Queen Creek, AZ. The role includes 3 12-hour shifts, with one weekend day, and a pay range of $16.00–$19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency veterinary medicine and triage preferred.
• Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats.
• Strong communication with clients.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced ER.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care by ensuring each patient is safe, comfortable, clean, and well cared for during the emergency visit.
• Assist the veterinary team with care and treatment of emergency and hospitalized patients under direction of veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
• Support patient intake and triage by obtaining basic information and communicating concerns to the clinical team.
• Provide compassionate patient support through handling, restraint, feeding, walking, cleaning, and nursing tasks.
• Assist with procedures, treatments, diagnostics, and monitoring as directed by the veterinary team.
• Prepare treatment areas, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for efficient patient care.
