PetVet Care Centers is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian Medical Director for Northside Emergency Pet Clinic in Westminster, CO. This full-time role leads clinical care, collaborates with a team of vets, technicians, and staff, and works with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director to uphold the highest standards of patient care.

The successful candidate will have a DVM/VMD, active CO license, DEA registration, and at least 1 year in emergency practice.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an accredited college.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained.
• 1+ years of emergency practice.
• Excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Work with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations.
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
