Job summary

Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is seeking a Treatment Room Attendant to support our Emergency team. You’ll help keep patients comfortable, help run the hospital smoothly, and assist the care team as needed.

The position features four 10-hour shifts (7:30am–6:00pm or 11:30am–10:00pm) with weekend rotation and pay of $21–$24 per hour, based on experience. Prior kennel or veterinary background is preferred, and we offer benefits and professional development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Experience in veterinary or kennel setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk and transport patients throughout the hospital.
• Clean kennels and maintain a safe facility.
• Wash food dishes and litter boxes.
