Job summary

VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast Calder Road in League City, TX, is seeking an Overnight Shift Emergency Veterinary Assistant (Full-time) to join our 24/7 emergency team. You will support clinicians, assist in exams, and care for hospitalized patients during night hours.

Experience as a veterinary assistant is required; emergency experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced, compassionate hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
• Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
• Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care for hospitalized animals.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting doctors and technicians as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.

VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast Calder Road is looking for a Overnight Shift Emergency Veterinary Assistant (Full-time) to join their one-of-a-kind Emergency and Critical Care Hospital!

Schedule: full-time, overnights, 8pm-8am. Three 12 hours shifts per week.

Location: 1108 Gulf Fwy S Suite 280 League City, TX 77573

Veterinary Assistant Experience required. Emergency experience preferred. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
